Veľký Kamenec (Former name, before 1948: Veľký Kevežd; Hungarian: Nagykövesd) is a village and commune in Trebišov District, Košice Region of eastern Slovakia.
History[]
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1280.

The village lies at an altitude of 124 metres and covers an area of 12.723 km². It has a population of about 835 people.
