Victor Filotti was born 1876 in Buzău, Buzău County, Romania to Anton Filotti (1844-1887) and Eliza Bagdat (1852-1939) and died circa 1935 Bucharest, Romania of heart attack. He married Margareta Orășanu (1882-1938) in Bucharest, Romania. He married Lucia Bratu (c1895-c1960) .
Biography
Victor Filotti (1876 - 1940) was a Romanian politician. He was head of the Buzău County organization of Take Ionescu’s Conservative-Democratic Party. In the early 1920s, he was secretary general of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce under Prime Ministers Alexandru Averescu and Take Ionescu. Thereafter he was syndic of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. He was forced to resign under accusations of dishonest conduct.
