Vseslav Izyaslavich of Polotsk was born circa 995 in Polotsk, Polatsk Rayon, Vitsebsk Voblast, Belarus to Izyaslav Vladimirovich of Polotsk (c978-1001) and died 1003 Polotsk, Polatsk Rayon, Vitsebsk Voblast, Belarus of unspecified causes.
Vseslav Izyaslavich (c995-1003), Prince of Polotsk from 1001, elder son of Izyaslav Vladimirovich, grandson of Vladimir the Great. Probably the first prince of Polotsk who received the reign by inheritance (after the reign of the father), which embodied the securing of the Polotsk princely family.
The annals contain only the date of his death. There is no information on life and activity. Most likely, Vseslav died as a child. His successor, even during the life of his grandfather, was a brother, Bryachislav .
During archaeological excavations in Mogilev, a potter's mark was found: a trident with a cruciform apex of the central tooth and a double vertex of the right tooth. This sign is attributed to Vseslav Izyaslavich [1] .
