Vsevolod Davydovich - Prince of Murom (1123-c1127), the third of five sons of [[Davyd Svyatoslavich of Chernigov (c1052-1123)|Davyd Svyatoslavich of Chernigov]].

== Biography ==
In 1116, together with Yaropolk Vladimirovich participated in the campaign against the [[Polovtsians]], three cities were taken: [[Sugrov]], [[Sharukan]] and [[Balin]].

When [[Davyd Svyatoslavich of Chernigov (c1052-1123)|Davyd Svyatoslavich]] died in 1123, the rule of the [[principality of Chernigov]] was taken by [[Yaroslav Svyatoslavich of Chernigov (1074-1129)|Yaroslav Svyatoslavich]], and his place as ruler of Murom was taken by Vsevolod Davydovich, as the elder in the Svyatoslavich family His fate is unknown. In 1127 [[Yaroslav Svyatoslavich of Chernigov (1074-1129)|Yaroslav Svyatoslavich]] was expelled from Chernigov by [[Vsevolod II Olgovich of Kiev (1094-1146)|Vsevolod Olgovich]] and returned to Murom.

== Family and children ==
Nothing is known about Vsevolod Davydovich' wife. There is only the assumption that she was called Judith and was daughter of the Polish prince [[Bolesław III Krzywousty (1086–1138)|Boleslaw III Krzywousty]] <ref>Jadwiga Żylińska: Piastówny i żony Piastów, Варшава 1975, стр. 99, 113.</ref> .

According to the outdated version (early V.N.Tatischev), which goes back to the Gustyn annals and then rejected by historians, Vsevolod was the ancestor of the Princes Gorodensky.
