- Christopher Wadsworth (1609-1677) - with his brother William, were the earliest Wadsworth's to land in New England. He was the first constable of Plymouth Colony and friend of pilgrims John Alden (c1599-1687) and Myles Standish (c1584-1656) who together went to help settle Duxbury, Massachusetts in circa 1629.
