Biography
Willard Richards Card was born 6 February 1921 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah to Orson Rega Card (1891-1984) and Lucena Richards (1893-1991) and died 3 December 2016 Provo, Utah County, Utah of unspecified causes. He married Peggy Jane Park (1923-2015) 8 March 1944 in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States.
Shortly after 1951, he moved the family to San Mateo County, California and then to Salt Lake City for to complete a bachelor's degree after a back injury made him leave his "sign company." After that, they returned to California and settled in Santa Clara.
In 1964, Willard, took a faculty position at Arizona State University and moved the family to Mesa, Arizona. In 1967 they moved to Orem, Utah, so that Willard could work at Brigham Young University.
