Biography
William Boyd, 4th Earl of Kilmarnock, was born 12 May 1705 in Kilmarnock, Ayrshire, Scotland, United Kingdom to William Boyd, 3rd Earl of Kilmarnock (c1683-1717) and Euphemia Ross (1684-bef1729) and died 18 August 1746 Tower Hill, London, England, United Kingdom of execution by beheading. He married Anne Livingston (bef1707-1747) 15 June 1724 .
He was attainted as a Jacobite rebel, so his titles were not inherited by his descendants. However, his wife's inheritence passed to her children.
