William Crew was born circa 1770 in Bristol, Somerset, England, United Kingdom and died 26 December 1797 Concord, New South Wales, Australia of alcoholic poisoning. He married Mary Cassidy (c1773-1835) 1795 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
He arrived in New South Wales on 13 October 1791 on the Albermarle as a convict.
