Biography
Mary Hamilton (or Hambleton) was the wife of Reverend Moses Sanders a plantation farmer and founder of several early Baptist churches in Banks County, Georgia. The name of her brother William Hamilton/Hambleton appears next to her husband in many of the 1770's North Carolina Land Grant and Court Records for Anson County.
This same biography presents a number of property sale records for 1814 Bedford County, Tennessee and shows this same William Hamilton selling property to several of his sons for $1 each. And later they record the sale of a slave to his son Theophilus in 1824.
