William John Chittick was born 8 January 1856 in Rotten Mountain, County Fermanagh, Ireland to Gustavus Chittick (1832-1865) and Jane Moffitt (1830-1880) and died 6 June 1939 Gerringong, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Catherine Elizabeth Nelson (1867-1919) 22 July 1891 in Kangaroo Valley, New South Wales, Australia.
