Seventy-three years of age, William Kelly, well-known in the Forbes district, where he had worked for sixty years as an employee on "Carrawobitty" Station, died in "Crombie" private hospital on Thursday, December 22, after an illness extending over three months.

Deceased was born in Yass, and came to Forbes as a youngster. Securing a job at "Carrawobitty," he remained there a trusted and highly esteemed employee, until he was forced to retire.

About six months ago, the late Mr. Kelly and his wife, who survives him, celebrated their golden wedding at their home at "Carrawobitty," with a big family re-union.

Besides his wife, deceased is survived by a family of six—four sons and two daughters.

The funeral on December 23, was to the Catholic portion of the local cemetery, the Rev. Father Maher officiating at the graveside. Mr. A. G. Jones had charge of the obsequies.
