William Sydney Falconer Corner was born 28 February 1877 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia to William Corner (c1849-1916) and Isabella Macintosh (c1852-1918) and died 6 July 1953 79 Bellevue Road, Bellevue Hill, New South Wales, Australia of stroke. He married Henrietta Minnie Smith (1875-1920) 10 September 1906 in St Stephen's Church, Phillip-street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He married Maud Eliza Priestley (-1963) 1923 .

Obituary

MR. W. S. CORNER

Mr. William Sidney Corner, father of Mr. John Corner, of Gosford, died at his home at Bellevue Hill last Monday. He suffered a stroke in the morning and died in the afternoon. The late Mr. Corner also leaves a widow and daughter, Isabel (Mrs J. McFawll, of Epping). About seven years ago, Mr Corner retired from the position of chief engineer of the NSW Tramways Department. During his period of service he had acted as chief commissioner. The remains were cremated at the Northern Suburbs Crematorium last Wednesday.
