So Ca Vol, Born Dec. 17, 1826, Died Oct. 18, 1863, Son of Capt. Paul Rogers, a Huguenot of the Colony of New Bordeaux. The blessing that is found in the "house of the righteous" descended on him. Faithful in that he professed, he was counted worthy, at an early age, to succeed in the office long borne in his Sires in the Church. Amiable by nature, he walked by faith. "As seeing him who is invisible" and his conscientious bearing, won the love of all who knew him. "Though dead, he yet speaketh." In defenze (sic) of Southern rights he laid upon his Country's Alter, a life full of the highest promise, in the triumphs of Faith and in hope of a brighter world. He died from a wound received at Chickamauga. ------"Precious in the sight of the Lord, is the death of his saints."

Ireland Grave 4 - Sarah Bull, Widow of the late John B. Bull and for many years wife of David Morrow (burried nearby in Guthrie Cemetery) with whom she immigrated to this country from the county of Down in Ireland in 1818. A member of the Church of the Covenanters from her earliest years. She attached herself in this country, To the Willington Presbyterian Church and died in the full faith and Triumph of the glorious Gospel of the Blessed God and our Saviour Jesus Christ, MY FLESH SHALL REST IN HOPE, It were a small thing oer thy grave to say, That thou in life were loved and mourned when dead, Such memories decay, Oh rather be it said, Thy walk below, sustained by faith and love, Thy flesh here rests in hopes to see God's face above. Grave 5 - John Baxter Bull, Died 5th Jan. 1855, 65 years of age, He was born in the lower part of this state and when quite a youth removed with his widowed mother to the neighborhood of Willington and under the care of the Reverent Moses Waddle (sic), he received both his intellectual and religious training.

Unnatural Death Mil120px Grave 6 - General William A. Bull, who was an elegant and polite scholar, a gentleman, a warm zealous and disinterested patriot. A brave and most generous officer and was thus endeared to all ranks of men who knew him. A kind neighbor, a very warm and devoted friend, kind and liberal to the poor, a good and generous brother. Incredible to relate! On the night of the 27. Dec. 1838 being alone on his plantation General Bull was most unjustly, cruelly and horribly murdered by his own servants. Aged 49 years and 4 months.

Medical Personnel Grave 16 - Dr. S. V. Caine, Born Nov. 1, 1809, Died July 6, 1858, The deceased prosecuted under Dr. Waddell. At Willington where he acquired those comprehensive and liveral views, that goodness of heart, and that magnanimous generosity which ever characterized him and which he manifested throughout his useful life. He graduated at Medical College in Charleston in 1833 and settled near Ninety Six. There he removed to Greenwood and in a few years sank into a premature grave, leaving a wife, five children and a large circle of friends to mourn his separation.
