Yuri Davydovich of Murom was born 1195 to Davyd Yuryevich of Murom (c1167-1228) and Euphrosyne of Murom (c1175-1228) and died 1237 Battle of Voronezh River (1237) of Killed in battle. Alfred the Great (849-899)/s, Charlemagne (747-814)/s.

Yuri Svyatoslav's elder brother, a participant in the campaign on Volga Bulgaria in 1220, died before his father, and Yuri inherited the Principality of Murom reign in 1228.

In 1229 and 1232, Yuri participated in the campaigns of the Grand Prince of Vladimir-Suzdal Yuri Vsevolodovich against the Mordvins.

In the autumn of 1237, when the Mongols approached the southern borders of the Principality of Ryazan, the Princes of Murom as well as the Princes of Ryazan, entered the Battle of Voronezh River. Also during the invasion, Yuri's cousin, Oleg Yuryevich, an outcast prince, participant in a campaign against the Volga Bulgarians in 1220, was killed.
